Leadership Development, Organizational Culture & Human Development
Dear Mixed Girl® provides research-informed consulting, professional learning, training, facilitation, coaching, and keynote speaking designed to strengthen leadership, communication, cultural proficiency, emotional intelligence, identity development, and organizational practice.
Founded and led by Dr. KayLa N. Allen-Young, Dear Mixed Girl® works with organizations, leaders, professionals, families, and individuals when meaningful growth requires more than general awareness. Engagements are developed around the people involved, the responsibilities they hold, the conditions affecting them, and the outcomes that need to become stronger.
Organizational & Professional Services
Dear Mixed Girl® supports organizations navigating leadership development, workplace culture, communication, professional learning, and organizational response following conflict, complaints, investigations, corrective-action requirements, settlement-related obligations, or other documented concerns.
Consulting, training, facilitation, and executive or professional development are customized to the organizational context rather than delivered as one standard program. The focus is on strengthening leadership accountability, cultural proficiency, communication, decision-making, workplace expectations, and the practical behaviors that influence how people experience an organization.
Identity & Family Development
Dear Mixed Girl® also maintains its distinct commitment to mixed and biracial girls ages 12–18 and the people raising them.
Identity-development coaching helps girls strengthen self-awareness, emotional intelligence, confidence, and the language needed to understand and express the fullness of who they are. Parenting leadership support equips families with culturally informed guidance for understanding identity experiences they may not personally share and supporting their daughters with greater awareness, communication, and intention.
Keynotes, Learning & Facilitation
Dr. KayLa delivers customized keynote presentations, workshops, facilitated learning, and professional-development experiences that connect human development with the realities of leadership, culture, identity, communication, emotional intelligence, and organizational responsibility.
Her work is designed for conferences, corporations, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, nonprofits, professional associations, government-related audiences, leadership groups, and other organizations seeking learning that is thoughtful, practical, and relevant to the people in the room.
